When was the last time you saw one of these at the car show? I’ll bet never! Rare 1958 Oldsmobile 88 with J2 tri-power package car with factory 371 ci engine and Hydromatic transmission. The motor has been gone thru completely and the car runs great. All of the parts under the hood have either been replaced or rebuilt. This car was stripped down to bare metal and painted with a gorgeous green metal flake. The interior has been redone with OEM materials. All of the chrome is there and in great shape. As you can see from the pictures the floor pans were replaced during the restoration and are in excellent shape. It is sporting brand new 17” American Racing Torgue Thrust PVD’s and brand new tires with less than 100 miles on them, wheels and tires. I do have the factory wheels and hubcaps that will come with the car when purchased. The car has the original spare tire in the trunk. As I am sure you know, I can not express how rare it is to find one of these cars with the 3x2 carburetors. This car is rare enough but with the J2 package it is one that is sure to turn heads. The car does have a small crack in the window on the drivers side. This just happened the other day and it may or may not be fixed by the time the sale ends, depends on my schedule this week. This is one of those cars that many of you have never seen and the ones that have, have only seen one or two at shows. I have never seen one at any of the shows I have ever been to.
