I purchased this vehicle 5 years ago from the original owner's wife after he passed. The original owner was my neighbor, so I knew the vehicle since new. This car runs and drives excellent, as I recently borrowed a transporter plate from a friend of mine, and drove it 40 miles to my new residence without any problems.
Although the seats, carpet, headliner and door panels show that this car is all original, there is some normal wear due to age. This vehicle was without a garage its entire life, so the paint is faded and peeling in spots. The dash pad has 2 cracks in it due to sun exposure. The weatherstripping and vinyl Landau roof will require replacement. The tires look great, (tread wise), however, they do have dry rot cracks on side walls.
This car is priced right with a very low reserve. This car can be used the way it is, or can be slowly restored while in use, or fully restored. These are great riding vehicles with just the right amount of style, room and comfort. I doubt very much that you can find a rare 2 door full size car such as this one, with as little original miles, for this price.
I hate to see this car go, as I had plans to restore it, and use it, however bad financial situation forces me to sell it. I hope that the person that wins the bidding takes good care of it and enjoys it for many years to come. Good luck bidding.
