Up for bid is an excellent parts car, or a possible daily driver or winter beater, with sub frame repair REQUIRED. There are three mounts missing from the K-member on the front sub frame. Many body shops can do the job, or DIY if you can weld. (I believe the cage nuts in the unibody need replaced.) The car is drivable, though on a limited basis, with extreme caution. A car hauler is recommended for pick up.
Included with the car are new GM bolts for the mounts, though I don't have the mounts. The overhead console is out of the headliner, as is one of the interior grab handles. The power antenna is stuck in the up position. The horn does not work. The climate control changes the direction of the air at its discretion, though the temp. control works great, and I've never had a problem defrosting the windows. There is body rot on the rocker panels underneath the plastic rocker covers as is typical for a northeast Ohio car. Clear coat is off/faded in spots, (see pictures) and there are some chips in the paint.
The engine is a series II 3.8 V-6 that runs excellent with just over 141, 000 miles. (The problematic upper intake plenum typical of the 3.8 was replaced about five years ago.) The overdrive transmission only has 40, 000 miles on it since professional rebuild. There was over $2400 in trans rebuild and related components. Two years ago, all brake lines except the two off of the master cylinder (changed with new GM) were replaced with nickel-copper alloy corrosion proof lines, as was the master cylinder and brake hoses. The car has also recently had a new muffler, catalytic convertor, gas tank with straps and filler neck, fuel pump, radiator, air ride compressor, and transmission cooler lines installed. It has comfortable leather interior, full power accessories, and cold A/C. I am the second owner of this car, and know the original owner well.
The car has never been involved in a major (if any) collision. It has always been non-smoker owned. It has always been very well maintained with quality parts, and has always been extremely reliable. It is one of the best winter cars I've ever had, and is great in the snow. I don't have the time to fix the sub frame.
