Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight 98 Holiday Sedan (4 dr. Hardtop) (1956)
for sale

Price: US $1,800.00

Description:

Oldsmobile's top of the line loaded up cruiser. Remarkably solid southern car in original condition. This car needs everything redone. It appears pretty much everything is there except the heater motor and wheel covers. Seats are solid, but need re-upholstering. Dash pad is shot and ceiling material is falling down. The interior door material is deteriorated but the doors look very solid. The chrome on the dash is pitted and will need to be re-chromed for show. I have not tried to start or drive this car, so I don't know what condition the engine and drive train is in. The hood in bent next to the hinges and needs to be repaired. Most of the stainless is good, but the right front fender molding is damaged. Some of the scripts and trunk trim are damaged. The paint is gone on the roof, hood and trunk lid, leaving them rust pitted, but not beyond easy repair. Actual mileage unknown by Seller.
This is a rare, luxury automobile, very worthy of loving restoration. These GORGEOUS 56 Oldsmobile Holiday Sedans were the epitome of luxury, fit and finish in their day. Today, they are admired as amazing examples of the exquisite GM sculptured styling they are famous for.
If you are the winning bidder I will invoice you for $250.00 as a non refundable deposit VIA Paypal, and the balance is due in cash, personal check, or bank cashiers check cleared by my bank, before you pick up the car, no exceptions or negotiation. All funds in U. S. Dollars! The car must be picked up within 30 days of the end of auction. If it is not picked up and paid in full, you lose the deposit. It should not be driven in it's present condition; it has to be picked up via transport vehicle.

“Untouched, restorable, very few parts missing. Basically solid, but some rust holes in floor and trunk. Small holes in rockers, but otherwise pretty solid. Some glass broken or cracked. Stainless in restorable condition except right front fender. Dash and interior chrome pitted, seats and dash pad need recovering, doors too. Look at the pictures, they pretty well tell the story.
