Up for auction is this super nice '49 Olds. This is a dent free, rust free car. Even the underside looks terrific! I will send underside photos to whomever would like to see. The underside is a must see. The body has had one repaint about 15 years ago and still looks very nice. It is not showroom perfect , however, very respectable and presentable. The rockers, floor pans and trunk are 100% solid with even very little surface rust. It is really in unbelievable good shape. The bumpers front and back look fantastic - nice & shiny with no dings or scratches. The huge chrome grill is perfect and really sets the car off! The chrome around all windows, hood ornament, & chrome on sides of car & rockers is nearly perfect. Very impressive indeed. All glass in the car is excellent! There are no cracks, chips or discoloration. All the windows function excellent. The doors do not sag when open and shut perfectly, as do the hood and trunk. The tires are like new. The original hubcaps and beauty rings look really nice. The Olds has its original #s matching 6 cyl. flathead engine that starts right up, runs cool, idles smoothly and has a lot of pep. It looks to have been rebuilt at some point - as clean as it is and as strong as it runs! It does not smoke at any time! It is really clean and tidy under the hood.(see pics) No grease, rust or corrosion & as nice as can be. The car has an automatic transmission that shifts and operates excellent! The inside of the trunk is nice and clean with brand new spare & jack. The interior is original with a nice headliner with no holes or sagging. The seats are real nice as are door panels. New carpet was installed at some point and is very nice. The gauges all work, horn blows, and the gauge faces are in excellent shape. The dash is unmolested and in terrific shape. It has a very cool working spot light with a rear view mirror on its backside.(see pic) This car is solid top to bottom, runs, drives, brakes and handles excellent. I am very confident the new owner will absolutely love this car. It will cruise 60-65 all day. I would have no fear driving this car to the coast. Smooth driving and tight with no shimmying or rattles. I have done my best to describe this car, however, welcome email contacts to share phone numbers to further discuss this terrific car. A $500 non-refundable deposit is due to PayPal within 24 hours within the end of the auction. The balance is due in full as cash in person or wired to our bank account within 7 days of the end of the auction. The balance WILL NOT be accepted into PayPal. The buyer is responsible for their wiring fees. The buyer is responsible for arrangement and payment of transportation or pick up of this car. The car is currently under roof and can remain there for up to 30 days to allow for transportation or pick up of this car. This car is offered by a WI dealer so a buyer will be signing a purchase agreement and a WI buyer will have state, local taxes added to the purchase price of the car.
