The Opel GT was often referred to as the poor mans Vette. This model is a 1972 Strato Blue (paint code 235 751). Runs and drives. Automatic transmission, power front disc brakes - drums on the rear, new tires, black vinyl interior, weber carburetor, air conditioning*, miscellaneous parts and service manuals. Upgraded with modern automatic retractable lap/shoulder safety belts. Small amounts of surface rust on some components. Exterior paint is chipped in some places and is sun faded. Roll over manual headlights and a manually activated windshield wiper. No hit body with some small dents.Air conditioning is partially disassembled and I have all parts except for the old ARA compressor and dryer. This car came with factory installed AC so there is no back seat. There is a deck instead and the evaporator is located beneath this deck. This car had a non-working AC compressor and there is a hole in the front right interior of the fender which I assume was made for clearance of the drive pulley on the ARA unit. I was planning tor replace the compressor with a new Sanden unit so as to minimize engine HP loss.
No trades accepted and the car and title will not be released until payment clears. Vehicle is listed locally and I reserve the right to end the listing early.
