Up for auction is a nice 1973 Opel GT. The car is showing 4600 miles but I am sure this is really 104, 600 miles. I think the engine was rebuilt around back when the car had around 80, 000 miles on it. The engine runs really good. The paint is about 4 years old and still shows good. There are a couple of small surface rust spots showing up around the rear wheels. The interior is pretty nice. The seats have been re covered and there is a new dash cover installed. Also there has been a power antenna installed. Opel GT'S are getting harder to find and really get a lot of attention at car shows and are really fun to drive.
The winning bidder will be responsible for shipping. The car is advertised locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early. Car must be paid for in full within 5 days after the auction ends. Must be paid with certified bank check. Car and title will not be released until the check clears.
I have owned 12 Opel GT'S in the past few years. This was a hobby that I shared with my Dad. He really enjoyed taking the cars to local car shows and cruise ins. My Dad was 84 and passed away November 30, 2015. The cars don't have the same meaning so I am ready to sell them and move on. Thanks Jim
