Hello and thank you for viewing the auction for my 1974 Opel Manta. The following is an overview of the vehicle condition and modifications.
This 1974 Manta is complete and modified. It has a Ford 289 HO mated with a Ford 3 speed manual top loader trans. The motor fires and runs smoothly with plenty of power. The trans shifts tight but it is heading for a clutch. The car does run, shift, and move. It does need front brakes. Tires and aftermarket American racing wheels are almost new. Interior is complete. Body is complete and in decent shape.
As with all of these there are rust issues underneath. Floors and some frame repair required to safely drive it.
I was hoping to work on this with my son but we lost him in a car accident 2 years ago and I have not been able to bring myself to work on it. Better to let go rather than to bring up sad memories. I am ready to move it so I am listing with a low starting bid od $300 and no reserve.
This cool Manta is ready to be completed or is a goldmine in parts.
