Own an affordable piece of 1950's American automotive history. This ride is sooo cute ! Rare model 2 has Vanguard V-Twin 16 hp motor upgrade- not original motor ( runs nice ! ) Has desirable, upgraded later style windshield. Included in your purchase is an extra set of fenders ( real nice condition- super straight ! )and a new sheet metal hood- if you wish to create the original creases on the hood, it is an easy task for any sheet metal shop. As you can see, the original hood was incorrectly trimmed at the sides in order to accommodate doors. If you wish, doors may be correctly added at any time using the provided hood as shown in the driveway at front of vehicle. Needs a new steering box. I have removed the original with intent to purchase a new one ( $80., from Midget Motors ) They sell a box for the Model 3, which they say can be adapted. Frame and floor pan is as solid as a rock- floor pan has been replaced.Brakes have been re-done, and stop great.All wiring has been replaced.Headlights are functional. Tail lights are not connected. I have removed the rivets from the front grill which attach to the hood- so, it's free to place onto the new hood.As I understand, these original grills are rare. Fenders are installed loosely, so your removal can be easier facilitated when replacing with the better set.Also included in your purchase will be two reproduction King Midget red metal badges, a new oil filter, air filter, pre- filter, spark plug [ forgot to buy the second spark plug ] and a new Stewart - Warner Volt Meter Gauge in unopened box.Volt meter gauge which is presently on dash works perfectly, but I purchased this new one to freshen it up with a cool retro look.Will also include [ not shown ]is new rubber cord trim for interior dash / hood edge.This can be a great driver as-is cosmetically, or - take it to the very affordable finish line including a paint job. Mileage for the purpose of listing was denoted as 100, 000- though, actual mileage is unknown, as there is no odometer on these cars.
