1925 Star Motor Co. of California, Model F, serial # C276610. Includes extra motor, plus a second body, chassis, and motor. The complete Star, shown in the first 16 photos, was driven regularly through the late 1960's, and has been parked since. At that time one of the owners decided to rebuild the engine, removed the radiator, timing chain cover, and a few other parts, and never began the work. The same family has owned it since the 1950's. All parts are here, and the second motor is in the rear of the vehicle as the photos show. The second body/chassis/motor was rescued from close proximity to a barn fire that melted or damaged the seats, etc., that could not withstand the heat from the nearby blaze. Both vehicles and all accompanying parts are included in the winning bid. Payment by certified check, postal money order, or cash. Please ask any questions before bidding, as this is a no refund, no return, auction. I will answer promptly and can include photos related to your questions if you wish. On site viewing is available by appointment only, so please contact me well in advance if wish to visit. The winning bidder is solely responsible for pick up and transport from Grass Valley, CA.
