Description:
This is a 1926 Essex 2 door that would make a great project for someone. It is a California car - have California title. There is no rot. The frame and springs are all original and like new. It runs good!
Major parts completed are:
700R4 automatic transmission
Driveshaft installed
Reversed corvair steering box
S10 rear New
Radiator all re-cored and filler neck moved to under the hood
283 V-8
5 wheels and tires- wheels powder coated
new wiring harness and gauges
new battery
have original headlamp and bracket
Gennie shifter
gas tank original and like new
parking brake installed
Disc brakes on front and power brakes - brakes all finished
Speedway Motors front end
new shocks
steering column needs to be installed - but I have all of the parts from speedway
Fenders were sandblasted - ready for primer
Have all of the body panels in good condition
needs new vinyl top but the wood is good
ALL EXPENSIVE PARTS DONE! THOUSANDS INVESTED! Reason for selling? Lost interest in this project - this car could be made to look original with a modern drive train or made to be the hot rod look- you could choose.
