This rare 2500M TVR, was the top of the line in 1974, and they produced only 947 units of this model. Upgrades from the original factory model include new Sport Wheels with New Falken tires. .and a matching spare mounted correctly up front under the hood. This TVR has a wonderful JVC AM/FM stereo CD player. .with huge speakers. Just a great sound! Front running lamps are a must for all English sports cars. The sunroof operates smoothly, and seals very tight. These little TVR's weigh under 1900lbs...and with the dual carb 2.5L inline six cylinder motor, this is a real giant killer. Very fast and Very LOUD. It starts, shifts and runs smoothly thru all four gears... it's a real blast to drive and has the look of the current sports cars.
This car has lived a charmed life. .being carefully maintained as more of a show car, rather than a driver. I believe that it should be driven and enjoyed..as the manufacturer designed it. This TVR has just completed a comprehensive maintenance overhaul, with the following full services performed:

Take note of the Matching Racing Mirrors, and the terrific Mota Lita leather wrapped spoked steering wheel. All the chrome is like new...and the paint looks wet...no flaws, scratches and such. These little TVR's, are just now coming into their own, as a incredible investment classic car. Every British car enthusiast has seen the Austin Healeys, Morgans, MG's and Triumphs... but now they're starting to look for the rare TVR's. Speaking of Triumph. .Trevor Wilkinson used the Triumph's TR6 6 cylinder motors for this great little car... making service and parts easily available to the owners.
Not to many of these rare 2500's on the market today...most still remain in Europe... and the occasional TVR located for sale in the States isn't the quality of ours. The photos don't lie. ..what you see is what you get. In five years, this classic will be worth much more than we're asking. All of my vintage vehicles are rated 95+ on the grading scale.
