1949 Frazer 6cc L- Head 112
Horsepower
, 3speeds on column
This is
a nice daily driver with a very nice interior, not a trailer queen. Car was restored
several years ago and is still holding up nicely. Very solid car for the age, start in the first crank. This is a piece of history, a survivor! I drive the
car often to local car shows and receive a lot of thumbs ups. If you do not
want the attention and answer lots of questions wherever you go, this is not
the car for you!
Engine
Original
engine is a very solid in-line 6cc L-Head 112 Horsepower, 6 volts. This car is very solid. There are
no leaks. Exhaust
is quiet. Runs smooth and good, like
a champ! 98, 848 miles I believed they are original miles.
Transmission
3
speeds on column with overdrive. Shifts smooth tough the gears. Clutch is brand
new, was changed on May 6, 2016. The new parts have less than 10 miles on the
car.
Brand
new:
- clutch
cover pressure plate
- clutch
fricson disc
- clutch
throwout bearing
- clutch
throwout bearing springs 9.25 x 2pcs.
- clutch
pilot bushing (in flywheel)
*I have
the purchase receipt for the new parts and still have the old parts. All new
Exterior
Black
paint looks great, it was painted several years ago and looks very good. Chrome
has a little pitting but stainless is very nice, both bumpers are not that bad
but are in need of rechrome, This car turns heads wherever it goes. All lights
works. The car has all trims and emblems; the car is complete. 5 excellent
tires with less than 100 miles. The tires were recently balanced and the car
alignment. Also, a Vintage Grote Reflectors Flare flameless Complete in Metal
Case Emergency Kit.
Interior
Gauges, headlights, taillights, signal lights, temperature, gas, wipers all work. The
speedometer works but is in need of a new cable. All windows roll up and down, the
passenger’s window has a crack but does not affect its function (I have the
information of the window’s seller aprox. $55.00). All doors lock and unlocked.
The seats are new with no rips or damage. The carpet, door panels and headliner
are also new. The trunk is very solid and has the original Jack.
