This car came directly to me from California. It was restored in the late 90's and became part of a collection. I doubt it was driven much.
It performs very well. I have driven it and find it to be quite fun to drive. It has good power and torque. It handles well and stops easily.
It is certainly something different and unique. I took it to a Hudson show, where it was very well received and took second place overall.
Being the Deluxe 8 and also a Business Coupe, it is certain to draw attention from even the best informed Hudson lovers.
It is quite stylish and art-deco. The waterfall grill and hood ornament are very eye-catching.
This car is very, very solid. It spent its entire life in California.
It is certainly worthy of any local show or Cruise-in. To make it competitive at a large show, a repaint is in order.
But it is ready to be driven and enjoyed as it is. All you need is fuel in the tank.
We try very hard to provide quality vehicles that are fairly priced. We inspect them for safety and disclose any defects we discover.
However, all of our vehicles are sold as-is, no warranty is offered and no warranty is implied.
We describe our vehicles as accurately as possible. Multiple photos are provided and we are willing to photograph specific areas upon request.
We will gladly describe a vehicle verbally and will do our best to answer specific questions.
Our vehicles are available for inspection. An independent inspector or appraiser is welcome. We encourage our prospective customers to personally inspect the vehicle they are interested in. It would not be impartial for us to provide this service to you.
Due to the age of most vehicles we offer, we do not encourage our customers to drive them home. Old cars are just that, old cars. They need to be shipped home. Out on the road, miles from home is not the place to get familiar with your old car. Obviously we cannot stop you, but this is our recommendation.
We recommend getting to know your new vehicle before taking the risk of driver error, breakdown or accident. We are happy to assist with transportation arrangements.
Mileage is Exempt. Unless we have some documentation we always sell classic cars as mileage exempt. Meaning we do not know the original miles. What we list in the ad is what the odometer currently reads or based off rebuild information, provided by the builder and cannot be used as fact, of the engine and or body/chassis. Also, a Carfax or Autocheck on any VEHICLE older than a 1981 is not available.
We do not offer refunds. All sales are final. We consider your winning bid to be a legal and binding commitment from both of us that leads to us selling the vehicle to you.
A $1000 non-refundable deposit is required 24 hours of auction end. The remainder must be paid for within 7 days of auction end via wire transfer, cashiers check, or cash (if in person). Buyer is responsible for all shipping expenses if necessary. We will assist and cooperate with shipping arrangements to the best of our ability. This vehicle is sold AS-IS, with no warranties implied in any way. This vehicle is available for sale locally, therefore we reserve the right to end this auction at any time.
