1949 Ford Anglia Pro Street, All Steel Ultimate Anglia. (Relisted do not bid if you do not have the funds to follow through!!)

Titled as a 49 Anglia was originally a left hand drive car and an X-Gasser of the 60's with pictures.
One of only twelve hot rods ever invited back to display at the prestigious Invitational only Blackie Gejeian, Fresno 50Th Anniversary Autorama (Google search it)

Body: All steel body with over ONE THOUSAND MODIFICATIONS (Aluminum Hood). Front clip was stretched two inches allowing driver to sit in factory location and not behind A pillar. This was not a write the check and have someone build the car. My mechanical engineering background served me well in having the concept and being able to build the Anglia myself and driven on the street. It was a eight year project with many head aches along the way. The end result is a Hot Rod that is Old & New School big Horse Power and Torque, Attitude, the Ladies love the true old school CANDY paint and especially the 100 % Leather interior (hard to beat the smell of leather), state of the art suspension, built with safety 4130 roll cage 4 point, car could be drag raced if desired. Paint: Dupont Hot Hues Old School (three stage) Candy Tangerine over one off Beige Translucent Iridescent.
Engine: Blown & Injected 468 BBC, Iron heads (old school) 853 HP at 938 Foot Pounds Torque on Pump Gas. Hampton 871 blower 10% up, Enderle Hat & Barrel Valve, Ralph Gorr flowed mechanical fuel system. Inside electrical fuel priming system easy starts. MSD Distributor, MSD Digital 6 Plus, Stainless lines and AR fittings through out. One off Aluminum Fuel Tank 18 gallons approximately capacity. One off NASCAR type hand fabricated headers, Borla mufflers with oval exhaust pipes for ground clearance.
Polished Stainless Steel Firewall insert.
Frame: 92” stock stretched to 94”, one off 2” x 3” Mandrel Bent (Chris Alston’s Chassisworks)
Suspension: Coilovers, Flaming River Rack & Pinion, Four Link, Pan Hard, Mustang II, Wilwood Discs all corners.
Transmission: Mike’s of Calif. Turbo 400 Manual Shift, 3500 RMP Stall Converter, B&M reverse pattern shifter with Line lock.
Rear End: Fab 9 Ford 9 inch, 410 Locker with Mark Williams Aluminum Center Section, 3Strange Engineering 31 Spline Axles, 1350 Yokes, 3 ½” Aluminum Drive Shaft.
Cooling: Dual Ron Davies Aluminum Radiators one in front and an additional one mounted over third member with electric fan. Runs very cool.
Interior: All 100% pure leather over Aluminum panels 100% throughout including the fabrication of the headliner insert out of aluminum (no cardboard, wood or plastic panels). One off hand fabricated steel dash. Poweer windows, ANGLIA embroidery between tubes and mirror imaged on inside of trunk lid panel and reflects correctly in reflection of polished Aluminum Gas Tank. Detail Detail Detail. !!!!!!
Gauges: Dakota Digital Instrumentation all in one package (Oil pressure, Oil Temp, Water Temp, Fuel, Boost, Volts, Speedometer, Turn signal, Trans position) super clean, IdidIt steering column, One off steering wheel by Halibrand covered with matching interior leather.
Tires: Hoosier 29” x 18.5” x 15” on ET Wheels
