Engine and transmission in excellent condition
Matching numbers car
Almost all original inside and out
Just over 35K original miles
New water pump, carburetor, belts, hoses, spark plus, spark plug wires
Rebuilt original alternator
New rubber around doors and hatch
Car has been painted white, was originally suntan in color
Car runs and drives well and is a blast to cruise in
Has new custom designed middle console from Terry Tanner's shop in Virginia
(Terry Tanner/Chief Engineer of Bricklin 1974-1976-Owner of Bricklin Parts 1977-Present)
Also has the new Tanner Air Door system
Tanner consulted on all repairs and upgrades
Car includes complete mechanical repair manual
Some issues include:
a cracked windshield (does not impair driving)
Brake and seatbelt light stay on-no problems
Original seats in pretty good condition other than stitching starting to come undone from driver side (installed seat covers to protect)
Has original carpet in pretty good condition other than some fading and a few tears
AC does not work and I'm not certain it needs to be recharged or replaced-has old R12 system
I have had #1045 for several years and I love this car
I just feel like its time for someone else to enjoy her
and I need to downsize my car collection.
