I found this beautiful example of a 1968 Checker marathon in the resort area of the white mountains of NH last year. This car look's like a New York city cab but has a lot of different features including a great running 307 chevrolet v-8 auto transmission with 85, 000 mile's, front and rear chrome bumpers and grille.The interior headliner door panels and glass are in mint condition. The dash is unmolested and in perfect.All glass and trim is perfect and unmolested. seat springs are good and very comfortable but front and rear have started to separate at the seems. Under the hood the motor look's and runs great with no wire issue's or after market part's, door's and rocker are very rust free with NO REPAIR work found. How ever the car has been painted at some point in it's original color probably due to a very very light fender bender to the right front fender. This car is probably the closest thing you will find to original as they come.
