This 1941 Mack went through a two year restoration. Over 100K spent to bring it to where it is today!
Attached is a list of items we completed on the reconstruction of the 1941 Mack truck.
1. The light fixtures and dials from the cab forward were sent off to be rebuilt, painted and returned and they are all working.
2. The cab body, bulldog, front grille is original.
3. The front bumper and running boards are original.
4. The engine needed to be replaced, it had a complete break through the block. It is a 1965 Chevy engine with a comparable transmission.
5. The front axle and rear axle with the drive shaft is original.
6. The bed on the rear has been replaced, along with the wooden support plates.
7. The side running lights and the rear running lights are new.
8. The driver’s side door is a 1941 replacement to the original.
9. All painting is new and the chroming on the interior doors are new. The door locks are decorative and do not work.
10. The upholstery is new, but the seat frame is original.
11. The steering wheel was sent off and redone. It is original.
12. The cab front window originally cracked open, but is now sealed shut.
13. The metal rims for the tires are original.
