original miles. Car smells and looks new with very little wear, only a few small chips on the door guards and the bumper. It seats 5 passengers and has a range between 85 and 120 miles. It is all power with touch screen Navigation, Bluetooth, Aux/USB/SD Card input. Comes with a portable 110V charger that plugs it directly into any standard wall outlet. The car also has a quick charge port for a fast charge, there are charging stations everywhere nowadays. It uses the same charger as the Nissan Leaf and Chevy Volt. Car has been garaged and batteries have been maintained since purchase. Car was used for research purposes and not a daily driver so it shows very little wear.
The original company that manufactured the car is no longer in business but the car is now being built by the Mullen Motor Company. They have parts and upgrades for the car, the body parts have remained the same. From what I understand over 400 Million Dollars was spent to get this car to market. This car runs and drives great with no issues, Would be perfect for a college student or in town driving. I have the factory shop manual and owners manual.
These cars were only for sale in California so you may not have heard of them. Only 117 were sold until April 2013, this is number 31. The company was purchased by the Mullen Motor Company and they have re-branded the car as a 2015 Mullen 700e and it sells for $44, 000 here They offer parts and service for the coda and even have a 40-KWH battery upgrade to extend the range to 180 miles. They are better known for the Mullen GT all carbon fiber super car that sells for $150K.
The 31-KWH lithium ion battery pack charges to 100% with a 110 volt charger that's included. With an optional level-two 220 charger it can be charged in about 6 hours or to 80% in 20 minutes with a level 3 charger. It uses the same chargers as the Nissan Leaf and Chevy Volt. It has a Thermal Management System like the Chevy Volt.
It has a Borg-Warner Gear reduction transaxle, a Lear 6.6 KW charging system, alpine navigation system, and battery pack built by Lishen who is one of the largest manufactures of Lithium Ion cells (a key supplier to Apple, Motorolla and Samsung). The drive train is all USA built. The Electric motor is built by UQM PowerPhase in Colorado here and delivers 134HP and 221 pounds of torque. The motors alone sell for around 9K at Thunder Struck Motors here -ev.com/coda-parts.html they sell other parts as well.
I reserve the right to end the auction at any time as the car is listed locally for sale and may be subject to prior sale. A $500 deposit is due within 24 hours and full payment is due within 72 hours via wire transfer or cash in person unless other arrangements are made prior to close of auction. You are encouraged to inspect the vehicle prior to bidding and vehicle shipping, I will coordinate shipping and refer local shipper . I have explained the vehicle to the best of my abilities but the car is being sold as is without any warranty.
