Price: US $10,000.00

Description:

This 1999 FL70 is equipped with the 8.3L Cummins ISC engine and a six speed Eaton Fuller transmission. The engine is wet sleeved capable of being rebuilt rather than replaced like the Caterpillar engine (3126) A true big truck design for a medium duty truck. The truck has ~400, 000 miles estimated, The prior owner replaced the speedometer 8, 400 miles before I bought it. He was an 81 yr old who bought the truck to haul his large 5th wheel camper from Mississippi to Michigan yearly. The hour meter read ~13, 000 hours and using 34 MPH as an average speed during all the run time derived from two friends commercial trucks with over 1, 000, 000 miles each in commercial use and their milage/hour readings to approximate the mileage. A dealer can plug the truck in to find out the mileage from the ECU, but I don't need it for the $200 they want, the condition and operations tell the trucks condition.
This truck has 1 run on the new clutch/pressure plate/ throwout bearing and pilot bearing, it may be two or three by the time you call as the truck runs Washington state to Washington DC, Texas to Canada. It is delivering Camper Trailers for START FLEET and backhauling a few cars. The driver is looking to move to larger loads and newer emissions so he can access California loads and needs a newer and bigger truck. The drivers log book can be inspected as well as the IFTA logs to verify the runs and fuel economy, BTW can you say over 11 MPG on the run leading up to the clutch replacement and that was loaded with a couple large campers going to Anniston Al. 9 MPG is normal for the truck as is 7 MPG if you're running hard in the mountains thru the Dakotas at Wide Open Throttle.
Other new items include the alternator, all three (3) batteries, all six (6) tires (Yokahama RY617 and 703ZL drive tires under 20, 000 miles use , clutch less than 4, 000 miles use as of this posting. The following items have under 20, 000 miles on them as of this posting, front brake air lines, one new front cam adjuster and both front brake actuators.
I bought the truck, wrenched on it personally and had it DOT inspected passing without incident. The truck can receive a new DOT inspection as part of the sale at a location of your choosing within a reasonable distance from its current location for turnover to you the buyer.
The truck has a standup cab with the walk-in double bunk sleeper, plenty of cabinets and closet space plus a working refrigerator.
There is also a 2005 51' step deck with winch, new 12 ft ramps, (2) 10k axles, all tires are new or less than 20k miles and stinger for trailer hauling. The trailer has proper under deck storage for the ramps, the photo showing them on the deck was before the deck well was finished. Additionally, it has ramps already in place for the lower to upper deck transition, they were not in the photo posted but are on the trailer.
The photos explain the rest.
The truck is running daily and I consider it my house :). I just came back from Seattle and leaving soon to Minnesota and Nova Scotia for the next 2 weeks.
Would like to sell as a set but possible to sell the truck alone.
