This ZEVi Electric City Vehicle is NEV (Neighborhood Electric Vehicle) with all of the luxury features you’ve come to expect in full sized vehicles. It offers all the economy of an electric vehicle with the style, safety, and features of standard automobiles.
This electric car comes nicely equipped with many standard features, including, fog lamps, AM/FM radio/MP3 player, power windows, remote door locks, alloy wheels, defroster, and air conditioning.
Using a digital 72 volts DC to 3 phase AC conversion system, the drive train system is efficient enough to provide driving ranges up to 50 miles of commute driving on a single charge. City driving in stop and go traffic range may be from 30-40 miles depending on driving habits, traffic, and terrain.
The attainable top speed is 40-50 mph but is limited to 25 mph for NEV compliance, but can be reprogrammed.

- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -=This is an electric car that I acquired after it was used for testing by the Greenwheel Company of Schenzen, China for entry into the US market in 2010. It has been in storage since then and still has some of the original protective plastic on the interior.
It makes a great vehicle for a gated community, or for on-road use in the city for short trips/errands. It also makes a great base kit car for any electrical vehicle enthusiast. It is fun to drive and inexpensive to maintain. It is based on the same body (the Shanguan Noble) and technology as the Wheego Whip sold in Georgia, which retails for quite a bit of money.
These ZEVi cars like this one for sale have been licensed in California and they exist in the NHTSA federal database of VIN numbers, making it possible to license in other states, though I can't guarantee any particular state. It has all the features and requirements for on-road use as required by NHTSA.
This vehicle comes with an original Manufacturer's Certificate of Origin (MCO) on certificate paper that is approved by DMV's in all 50 states. If you want to get plates for it, this document should suffice, though you may need the help of a local car dealer to get the paperwork done.
It also comes with a printed manual, and electrical schematic. a program to reprogram the electrical speed controller via RS232 port from a PC is also included on CD ROM, along with various other drawings and tech details. It has a 5 speed transmission, but the current gear shift linkage setup is set for forward and reverse, along with neutral, whcih makes the car easier to drive and there is no clutch action needed.
It has been tested, driven, and will arrive running, however the batteries are at end-of life and will need replacement, which is why I'm letting this go so inexpensively. Any 150 amp-hour AGM 12 volt battery will work, and they are commonly available from many source. There are six of them wired in series to give 72 volts. The battery compartment is accessible with just 4 screws. The battery charger is under the front passenger seat. If you put 12 volt Lithium batteries in this car, it will have double the range and will have more acceleration.
