Jensen Healey 73 The paint is a good but not excellent. Has chips and cracks unnoticeable from 6-7 feet away. The car from factory comes equipped with a Lotus engine. This Lotus engine was upgraded to European standards: the engine now is 2.2 liters (instead of the original US specs. 2.0 liters), new crank shaft and set of pistons and 904 hot cams were installed. Has double Delorto carburetors with appropriate intake manifold and custom cool air cleaner, have the original intake air cleaner too. Adjustable cams with external sprockets to change the valves open/close times without having to remove the valve covers. Has a Toyota Supra 5 speed gearbox with custom bell housing. Brake compensator on the console. New shocks all around. Battery cut off. New fuel pump and refurbished extra fuel pressure regulator. Windshield shades with illuminated vanity mirrors. Powder coated front end. Short through gear shifter (removable). Antitheft deterrent system with dis-arming timer. Reccaro seats with lumbar support and four point seat belts. The cover behind the seats is detachable made out of aluminum and painted on the car’s color. New carpets and insulation mats all around in the trunk also. New dash pad cover and panels. Leather wrapped original steering wheel. The engine’s hood and trunk lids are custom made out of Kevlar to lighten the cars weight; despite that this cars is not heavy from the factory. Custom new extra capacity aluminum gas tank. New oversize water radiator with mechanic and automatic electric fans. New oversize oil cooler with braided lines. Electronic ignition and large coil. Rev. Limiter on the dash (I never knew how to use it). Spot and fog lights on the front Custom double exhaust pipes with two mufflers and double chromed ends. Light alloy “Moda” wheels with very good tires. AM-FM, cassette radio and electric antenna that probably is misconnected. Car goes with custom made Kevlar hard top also with Tonneau and soft top covers in very good condition. I could offer an extra standard hard top but transport and packing will be an issue, besides needs to be fitted to the windshield. The new owner to decide on shipping or no shipping. I will include the original console, crank shaft and pistons (prior to the conversion to European specifications, all well preserved), windshield washer reservoir and pump (removed to place large coil in the location), tools in original bag, original Owner’s manual, original intake air cleaner. The car has CA blue plates and a Non-Operated DMV status, clear CA Title on my name. Has being on a slumber for the past 5 years but I did start the engine regularly with fresh gas. Prior to this sell, the car was towed to/from mechanic to be tuned. Although very fast, the car was never raced or abused but loved and well kept.
