Up for sale is a rare barn find1972 Jensen Interceptor series 3 with the 440 cubic inch V8. The car has just come out of storage where it sat for 14 years. I am a collector of British cars and own a Classic Limousine company and am known by my friends as a buyer of anything British, this is how I ended up with the Interceptor. A friend informed me of the car and when I saw it I had to have it. I have since realized I do not have the time or funds to restore it as I am in the middle of a restoration currently and the Jensen would sit for several more years.
The Jensen needs a restoration but it should be relatively straightforward. When I got the car I lubricated the cylinders and got it fired up and running on all 8 cylinders. The transmission is stuck in neutral and I know nothing about automatic trans so I do not know what is wrong with it. The car appears to be unrusty and I have posted several photos of the undercarriage. The body is straight with good panel fit but there is a small dent on drivers side front fender.
