We inspect the vehicles when the vehicles are donated, and we work hard to describe the vehicle to the best of our knowledge. Cars2Charities will provide you with all the DMV paperwork that you will need in order to register the vehicle. Cars2Charities will provide all California buyers with either a Smog Certificate at the cost of $58.25 (paid by the buyer) or a certificate of non-compliance. Smog test will be done after vehicle is sold and we determine that a California buyer has purchased the vehicle. Please call after you purchase the vehicle to request the smog test. Vehicle Info: THIS IS A 1973 JENSEN HEALEY CONVERTIBLE THIS VEHICLE WAS DONATED BY THE ORIGINAL OWNER. WE HAVE THE ORIGINAL REGISTRATION CARD SHOWING THAT THE DATE SOLD TO OUR DONOR WAS 02/14/1974. THE CAR IS A CALIFORNIA RUST FREE CAR. IT HAS BEEN SITTING IN STORAGE FOR MANY YEARS. THE DONOR TOOK THE CAR OUT OF STORAGE AND HE SPENT $5000+ ON MECHANICAL REPAIRS ABOUT 4 YEARS AGO. ITS A LONG LIST OF REPAIRS. ALL NEW BRAKES, INCLUDING HOSES, PADS, SHOES, ROTORS, DRUMS, BOOSTER, MASTER CYLINDER. 4 NEW TIRES THE ENGINE RECEIVED A GOOD CLEAN UP INCLUDING REBUILDING THE CARBS, CHANGING ALL THE FLUIDS, NEW RADIATOR, FAN SHROUD AND FAN. THEY PERFORMED A COMPLETE TUNE UP INCLUDING A NEW FUEL PUMP. THE TRANSMISSION LOOKS LIKE IT WAS REBUILT AND THE DONOR HAS CONFIRMED THE PUT A NEW CLUTCH ASSEMBLY. THE VEHICLE DOES NOT RUN, IT HAS SAT FOR THE LAST 4 YEARS INSIDE THE GARAGE AND THE GAS TANK HAS BAD GAS. WE HAVE TURNED THE ENGINE OVER AND IT WILL TURN OVER WITH STARTING FLUID DIRECTLY TO THE CARBS. Payment and Fees: Each vehicle will be charged a $150 buyer fee on top of the winning bid. The deposit is non-refundable. A deposit must be made within 24-48 hours of winning bid. Deposit can be made using Paypal online. The balance of the winning bid and buyer fee will be paid at the time of pick up, if you are local. All payments, except the deposit, will need to be made by certified funds. This means: Only Cash, Cashiers check, or Money order can be accepted. Delivery of your purchased vehicle: Vehicles must be picked up within 3 business days of your winning bid. If vehicle is not paid for and picked up in 3 business days, a storage fee of $25 per day will be assessed on the purchase.
