The three-wheeled bubble car was designed by the aircraft engineer Fritz Fend and produced in the factory of the German aircraft manufacturer Messerschmidt from 1955 to 1964. Messerschmidt, temporarily not allowed to manufacture aircraft, turned its resources to producing small engine vehicles. The Messerschmidt was created from the cockpit of the aircraft!
