Featured here is a rare find! Purchased from an estate, this British variant of the Nash line of automobiles is rare and unusual, and exceedingly popular with American auto enthusiasts as well as British car lovers, as it has the economical Austin type 4 cylinder motor. If you want a neat car for touring that gets lost of attention then this is it! I have it currently at a British car restoration shop where it has awaited the mechanic's attention for many months now. My plan was to get her running and drive it some, as it appears that the former owner has done a good bit under the hood already. The shop owner says it should not take much to get it running, although I cannot say for sure about the mechanical condition. I have decided to focus on another project now, and this one will go to a lucky new owner at a low reserve price. Hagerty Valuation Guide has established the 'average' value of this very car at $14, 000. You can buy this one far, far lower than that and with some restoration, have a fine collectible investment vehicle! The ignition switch will need to be replaced as no key was found. It rolls around the shop with little effort. I do not know anything about the vehicle and what it will require, but assume it will need a full restoration, as it appears to have had some previous bodywork when it was painted its current color. As with any car, you can go as far with it as you want to or get it going and drive it with perhaps a small investment. Regardless, it is being sold as a project car that is 60 plus years old, so do not set your expectations beyond what is realistic, and I encourage inspections by you or a hired local person if you want details, although I can try to answer questions within my limited knowledge of the car. It does look good under the hood as far as the mechanicals and there are a number of obvious newer parts installed.I offer no warranties or representations with this car, and it is sold as is, with a title that I received from the previous owner, left open by the owner before him, formerly titled in Iowa. The VIN appears to match the tag under the hood, although the title itself has a digit of '1' typed in as the first number, and in looking at the photo as I write this ad, it looks more like a 'T' on the number tag under the hood, so if that is the case, it is an obvious typo which could need correction when it is titled by the new owner. I will pass this title along to you signed on back and left open just as I received it, with no liens noted, and it is up to the buyer to secure proper title from this point as I will assume no further liability or responsibility with regards to this auto or its title, as I did not ever register or drive it. Mileage noted on the title is 25, 627, but I will not represent that as actual or accurate, and have put 999999 on this ad.All shipping is the responsibility of the buyer, although I will assist with meeting your shipper and oversee loading. On Sep-19-16 at 19:05:12 PDT, seller added the following information:Went by the shop where the car is stored today. There was another ignition switch there which the mechanic said he will install tomorrow and get the car running. It turns over fine, has a good battery in it, and obviously has had some recent work done including restoration and painting of the air breather unit, new radiator hose, etc. Will update as soon as it is running.
