A remarkably good original Morgan...excellent rust free chassis, excellent wood framing, show quality paint on excellent body (no cracks at the top of the front fenders), rebuilt engine, rebuilt SU carbs, excellent wiring and electrics, runs and drives like new.
155 psi compression in every cylinder, 60+ psi oil pressure when warm, zero smoke cold or hot, perfectly tuned carbs, gearbox is virtually silent in first (and all other) gears, tight front end, excellent brakes, all working original creme faced gauges, perfect wood dash, even the glove box is perfect.
Very good top and side curtains and tonneau, very good interior, most every conceivable part rechromed...original bumpers (note crank hole), windshield surround, grille and. .. ..starter and generator covers, thermostat and water pump housings, hood latches, oil filter housing, VERY impressive detail work.
New tires, new seat belts, perfect wood floors, starts instantly, runs flawlessly, and surprisingly smooth ride. One incredible Morgan.
Morgan cars have been in production since 1910 and continue, now, in 2016. Their best known model, the Plus 4, dates from 1950 through 1968 and combined the classic engineering of traditional Morgans with the powerful, torquey Triumph TR3 engine offering 100+ mph performance.
Incredibly, most any important part is still available directly from the factory, even for sixty or seventy year old cars. And Morgans are sturdy, reliable, and easy to service.
