Price: US $5,000.00
This 1970 Morris Minor 1000 Traveller is a great little woody. Unfortunately we have had only dreamers, with no cash to finish the sale. So before we get started, you must have a minimum of 5 feedbacks before bidding. If not you will be dropped from any further bidding. Please don't hesitate to give me a call if you have any questions or have your heart set on this woody. My name is Ron, I'm 100% great feedback, and will help you in any way I can if you are purchasing the car. Come see the car, or have it inspected, it really speaks for itself. It would be a great investment or tax deductible advertiser for your business.
This particular Morris retains many of it’s original
characteristics, including right hand drive as it was built in England and made from Ash wood It has 35, 000 original miles. It has been a St. Augustine, Florida resident for many years
and a luggage rack and surfboard have been installed and go with the car to its new owner. Beach Patrol is lettered on the side. The paint has a great patina to it that is not blistered and has no
rust holes. The wood is beautifully aged
and in great shape. It’s a solid and
straight car. The hardware on this car
is fully functional and denotes the craftsmanship of the times. Trim is stainless steel and is free of pits
and dents and the badging in front and back are original and in nice
shape. The floors are solid with no patches or holes.
Under the hood this Traveller has the original 1098 cc
engine and a 12 volt electrical system. It starts every time and cruises around very pleasurably. I have recently installed new brake
cylinders. The tires are -
white wall- tires with 95 percent tread on them plus a new spare in
the back under the floor. The wheels are original with the Morris logo
on the hub cap. The transmission is a four speed manual and
works very smoothly. The miles are believed to be true miles. No real way of tracking. It also has the original Morris shifter
knob.
The interior is in very nice shape. Seats are comfortable and in really nice shape, complete with seat belts. There is a spot
on the upper right side in the rear that has a blemished spot, but not down to the
padding. I’ve tried to show it in the
photos. The headliner is also in very
good shape, does not sag and is not torn. Carpet and door panels are very good as well. A JVC
cd, mp3 player has also been added to keep up with the times, inc. in the sale. All
windows work and the glass in in great shape. Complete with an assortment of woody and beach stickers
that include a Morris registry.
All around the car is in very nice shape and a blast to
drive around. It goes without saying that
it turns heads and starts conversations everywhere it goes. I have videos of the Morris where you can hear the motor running and
see the car as if you were here. Paste the links below into your browser for a quick drive and walk around the car.

old car it is sold As Is. If you are the

exceptions. You are more than welcome
to come and inspect this car yourself before auction closes. Please
contact Ron at 352-362-2972 if you are have any questions or need more photos. We sold the car two weeks ago, and the guy did not finish the deal, which happens much too often with Ebay. Please have the courtesy by getting by to inspect the car, as the last guy did not and also had no good reason to finish the deal. it would make a great restaurant advertiser, maybe surf shop, or what have you. You will be pleased with this little gem I am sure.
