Description:

Noble is tame on the street under normal driving and comfortable but step into the throttle and it is under control but outrageous. Pulls very strong all the way to redline, mechanically fully sorted out and no issues. Will sell to someone more skilled than myself who can enjoy its performance more fully.
Noble is one of those rare combinations of heart pounding speed, ultimate control, superbly smooth suspension and impeccable handling. It is street legal and has performance numbers in the league of the Corvette ZR1 and Porsche GT3 (0-60 in 3.2 seconds; quarter mile in 11.4 @ 119.8). The car weighs less than 2, 500 lbs and generates 425HP and 390 Ft. Lb. torque out of the Rousch twin turbo 3.0L V6 engine and Getrag 6- speed. The Noble ‘floored’ me with incredible acceleration and matching down-force keeps it hugging the asphalt. All that said, my favorite aspect of the car is the insanely responsive steering and smooth suspension which makes getting through the curves so much fun. There are very few vehicles on the street which can outperform the M400.
This Noble was originally assembled by Greg Robb of 1G Racing. It is well known that Gregg assembles the best Nobles in the US. The quality of a Noble is dependent on who did the installation of the power train and if you buy a Noble that is not assembled by Gregg, you are asking for complications. I have all the build sheets, manuals, and invoices for the vehicle.
The Noble VIN is NUS0133 and the titled VIN number is SW121108PA. The vehicle is registered and insured in North Carolina and stays garaged year round. I have the clean title in hand and the car has never been in an accident. The car has about 7155 miles on it, subject to change. There were several upgrades done during the build but it is otherwise unaltered. Upgrades include:
- LizardSkin coat to the firewall
- 3M clear paint protector on the front of the vehicle
- SPA fire suppression system in the cabin/engine bay
- AutoWatch 160RLi/T vehicle alarm and immobilizer
- 4-wheel tire pressure monitor system
- Impact 5-point safety harness
- Stainless steel heatshields
- Digital intercooler fan controller
- Stainless steel heatshields
- Digital intercooler fan controller
- Quick-release Sparco steering wheel
- Solo bleed screws
- Sony CDXM8815X CD radio head-unit with Infinity speakers (includes remote)
- Air conditioning is outstanding
This vehicle maintained not by your standard mechanic, but by a Raleigh NC shop that specializes in rare/vintage collection restoration and maintenance.
As this car is meant to be driven and not locked away, it does have a few small cosmetic items to be aware of:
There are a few small scrapes/chips in the paint and the paint protector (see pictures); the paint protector can be easily replaced, but the paint would need a touch-up if desiredThe front lower lip has a slight crack and scrape from the previous owner about two inches across - this has not impacted performance at all in my time of drivingThere are a few signs of road rash on the rims
The rear tires with Michelin Pilot Sport PS-2’s to match up with the front (which were replaced right before I bought the car originally). Also, the car comes with both the fat man carbon fiber seats and the standard carbon fiber seats (which will need to be shipped with the car – unfortunately they do not fit inside!). It also comes with a full foam application for the roll bars and a seat upgrade plate for a 6-point harness.

From Wikipedia
The Noble M400 is a sports car from the British car maker Noble. Manufacturing was outsourced to Hi-Tech Automotive, based in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. The M400 was noted by the automotive press for excellent handling and power.
The Noble M400 features a mid- mounted transverse engine design. The power plant began life as a 2, 968 cc DOHC Ford Duratec V6 with four valves per cylinder, as used in the Ford Mondeo ST220. With this engine as a base, Noble fits high- lift camshafts, revised fuel injection, and two turbochargers. For durability, Noble also added forged pistons, an oil cooler, a larger baffled oil sump, and extra cooling ducts. Its engine has a maximum power of 425 bhp (317 kW) at 6, 500 rpm, with a torquefigure of 390 lb·ft (530 N·m) at 5, 000 rpm. This power and a light weight allow the M400 to achieve a power- to- weight ratio of just over 400 bhp/ton, the figure for which it was named, a 0–60 mph (97 km/h) of 3.2 seconds and a 1/4- mile time of 11.4 @ 119.8 mph (192.8 km/h). Top speed is 187 mph (301 km/h). The UK automotive TV show Vroom Vroom suggested that the M400 gave Ferrari Enzo performance at a Porsche 911 price.
