This 1925 Pierce-Arrow Series 80 Roadster has just 34, 000
original miles, painted in its original Venezia blue. The engine in this car has never been worked on and it runs and
drives like it was made last week.
Over this past winter the car was repainted, re-nickel
plated and upholstered. The undercarriage was highly detailed and the dash restored to show quality
I even painstakingly replaced the leather boots that hold the grease for all four shocks just as it would have come from the factory. The windshield glass and surrounding nickel plated frames are brand new. The top and accompanying boot cover were made in 1948. I saw no reason to
replace them. The wing windows were an original dealer accessory. The beveled glass is brand new as well as the radiator core and the tires. This
fine motorcar spent almost its entire life in Hollywood, CA lending itself out
on many occasions for use in
films for almost 40 years. Having been just completed, this '25 Series 80
Roadster is the finest there is. In June it debuted at the Grand National Meet for the Classic Car Club of America and scored a 99 point score taking first place; and also a first place trophy in its class at Sunday's Concours d'Elegance. As you can see from the photos, this is a spectacular motorcar. An added bonus is the NOS 1925 Pierce Arrow WinterFront radiator core mechanism which operates perfectly; automatically opening the louvers as the radiator tank heats up. This car runs smooth and strong and has never over-heated in the two years I've owned it. There is a 6 volt electric fuel pump hidden and mounted on the rear chassis rail. The starter motor was rebuilt three weeks ago. The original mint condition owner's manual is also included and the cars factory carburetor and air cleaner which are both in excellent condition. Also note that this car does not have standard rubber running boards but the original Pierce Arrow factory pyramid aluminum running boards[new]. I also replaced the original linoleum floors with new throughout. The rumble seat area has the factory polished nicked foot rest bar and the floor has brand new carpeting. The rumble seat nickel hinge arms were re-plated as well. The radiator core was replaced with the original style fins and the shroud re-nick plated [flawless]. Every piece of this car has been restored to show quality, except the archer hood ornament which I left with it's original patina. It is in perfect condition. This car is simply the finest there is.
