Lovely one family-owned 1950 Riley RMB acquired from Marley Motors in 1952 with just 9K miles. Used as daily transportation by a Boston area family then placed in dry storage in 1956. In 1971, the vehicle was subject to a full mechanical rebuild including engine, fuel system and brakes. Used sparingly until having a bare-metal respray, new top and door panels, headliner and carpets 1975. Subsequently driven in club events, well maintained then stored in 2010. Superb running engine with plenty of smooth long-stroke power. 40-year old paint shows well with customary nicks and a few areas of crazing. Original leather seats. Bluemels Brooklands steering wheel with custom hub. Rare mechanical tachometer. Engine has insert shells. Club SS exhaust system. Supplementary electrical cooling fan, seat belts and turn signals. Excellent Avon Turbospeed 600x16 tires. Areas requiring attention: oil leak from rear of pan which occasionally causes slipping clutch, and driver's side carpet worn. Numerous spares including new Pertronix electronic ignition conversion, plus car cover, Owner's/Workshop/Spare Parts manuals, receipts dating back to 1952. and rare original sales literature.
