These photos are faded and lack the true essence of this beautiful color. Updated photos will be taken & posted soon which will also be provided to prospective buyers along with additional information & a more detailed description. The additional photos are expected to be taken within a weeks time.) This sophistically designed vehicle has spent much of its life as a museum piece. Most recently its latest proud owner choose to enjoy regular rides down the strip & is now showing some wear & tear & minor bumps & bruises, but continues to look great & runs & drives like a dream getting all the attention wherever seen. There would be very little effort involved to put this stylish classic back to museum quality.Extremely low actual mileage: 37, 000The interior includes its original 24-carat gold-plated trim bird's eye maple, Connolly leather seats and dash, instrument markings in both English and Italian, fine wool carpeting and headlining, a cigar lighter, and a liquor cabinet in the back. This is a super rare opportunity to on own a piece of American history or should I say Italian American History. The body and many of its components were carefully handcrafted in Italy & then ship to America where it would be skillfully hand assembled onto specially selected GM chassis & drivetrains. It is said that perhaps only 20 to 25 of these cars were produce in a given year and sometimes even less. If you don't know the history of the Stutz Blackhawk then please enjoy doing your own research on these cars. Elvis Presley was fortunate enough to see the unveiling of first ever prototype and instantaneously told its exhibitor that he was buying that car on the spot. And as history goes the exhibitor told Elvis that Elvis clearly did not understand that the car is a prototype and was needed for the next year to promote the car across America. Elvis Replied to the exhibitor that the exhibitor didn't understand that just one public appearance of the King of Rock-n-Roll seen driving the new Stutz Blackhawk would create more global publicity, then the exhibitor travels to every car show in America for the next year. The exhibitor woke the Stutz owner in Italy and was ordered to sale that prototype to Elvis! The Stutz Blackhawk was known as The Most Expensive Car in the World. Manufacture for only the most rich & famous.
