This is an amazing car that was parked in a barn in the early 1960s with the keys in the ignition. License plates are 1956 and the door jam shows an oil change sticker at 33, 228 miles. Odometer reads 38, 000.This was the car of my friends grandfather who passed away many years ago. He asked me to help him get the car out of the old barn and sold. my friend is in his sixties and remembers riding in the car was he was about 10 when it was parked.
Everything is there. Missing trim parts are in the trunk. Interior is all there with keys still in ignition. The engine turns very easily and freely by hand. Oil in the pan and looks good on the sip stick ( no slug). I purchased all of the following new but have not had time to work on the car to get it running...NEW parts: NOS carb, fuel pump, distributor cap, points, plug wires, 6 volt battery, many more included in sale.
Interior is all there and dash is in great shape. Mice ate up the seats and headliner. I removed wheels, blasted, painted, and installed new tubes and Cocker white wall tires. Moves and rolls very easily. Brakes were not rusted tight. The underside is not rusted through and very solid. Owners manuals was in the glove box. Amazing find. Quite a solid old car saved from the elements by being inside for so long.
There is no title currently bill of sale only. Great restoration candidate. I am a muscle car guy so letting this go. . reluctantly.
Car is not running will need to be trailered. Deposit of $500 due immediately, balance due in 7 days. It is currently locked in my storage unit and must be picked up within 45 days.
