It runs It drives, but needs some work to be road worthy. it needs one rear drum replaced to be able to drive in traffic, but will drive thru the neighborhood
Decent body, a few dings, some rust, some cracked glass
Ok heres the scoop: Needs a rear drum, some idiot could not get it off so they cut it with a grinder, so you need one rear drum to be able to drive it in traffic, it does stop, that wheel cyl is capped off, but it doesnt stop good enough for traffic, the rear end is original and has a low gear ratio so it will be a 65mph car, i was going to swap it out for something late model with better gear ratio, but you can decide for yourself
Engine runs decent, has new battery new plug wires, it has a 2 bbl carb so its good on gas Trans shifts nice and smooth
Its been rewired completely but needs gauges, there is a set of used classic style vdo gauges to go with it but need to make a gauge panel for them, all wires are ran up to dash just need to ring ternimal them and install on gauges No horn, wipers are vaccuum they dont work, headlights turn and brake lights work, it only has one tail light
Doors only open from inside only, outside door handles dont seem to work
Roof and rain gutters are great, rust free, but roof looks like it had a roof rack at one time, paint is flakey Cowl has rust in the bottoms you can see body filler if you look on the inside, not a lot, not to big, some pin holes on the rocker under the door, floors had some but a long time ago someone welded thick diamond plate over them, tail gate has some rust at one seam, the middle body mounts on both sides have rust, but the fronts and rears are good and the car is structually sound, wheel arches have had some welding done on them, cargo area is nice with wood slats, there is one small rust hole on one fender well on the inside
So this is still a bit if a project, but easy Drive it cruise it fix it as you go Great retiree or father son project

i just bought a good set of used vdo classic style gauges with senders, now all you need to do is make a gauge panel mand install the gauges i also have a set of modern bucket seats out of a 2006 honda that can go with it instead of the bench seat i will also sell for a lower price without the cragar rims and tires. and it will get a set of jeep cherokee alloys rims, but the tires are not very good
