Description:

Offered is a 1954 Hudson Wasp four door. The Wasp was the entry level model with lesser trim than the Hornet, but still built with the same Hudson quality. This is a nice survivor, having been repainted back in the early 1970's. 56, 422 original miles. Fly in and drive car home!
Interior:
Original except for new carpet. Some minor stains on the door panels (see pix), front seat has had cotton batting replaced with foam rubber. Seat belts have been added. All gauges function and radio works too!
Exterior:
Repainted in approx. 1972, incorrect green but close. At time of painting dents apparently filled with bondo and shrinkage or discoloration noted on some of these areas. Rust rear fenders, at wheel opening lip (see pix). Rockers, floors etc all very solid. Chrome and stainless all good looking with a couple of NOS trim pieces installed. Windshield has crack.
Mechanical:
Engine, hydramatic rebuilt 4500 miles previous, engine bored .040 over, new valves and seats, crank polished with all new bearings. All little things that come with rebuild kit too (timing chain etc.) Hydramatic by Gus Souza. Wiring, brakes etc. all good condition too. Original 6V system; all lights are bright and car cranks as it should! Radial tires.
