Description:

Selling my Merkur xr4ti because I am leaving for college in the fall and need to make room for another project. Anyways its an 87 Xr4ti, Has 89k miles on it and runs like a champ. Has a ford 2.3 turbo 4cyl engine, 5spd trans, custom radiator w/ intercooler and bypass valve, mustang svo PE computer, 3 downpipe from turbo back to side exit.
Good:
Turbo pulls great, 15psi stock before intercooler now 10psi just fine. I've only filled it with 93 octane since I've owned it. Previous owner had new injectors installed and new alternator
Compression test was done when I picked the car up, all cylinders tested health at 150psi.
Brand new tires and very clean 88 mustang gt rims
Newer speakers installed in front dash
Car needs nothing and is ready to be driven daily.Brand new rotors, pads, shoes, and brake hoses.
Bottom of car is solid, few bubble spots of surface rust but nothing compared to its age.
Heated seats, sunroof works great and doesn't leak, power locks, power windows, foglightsFuel and temp gauge work great!Clutch is nice and solid, previous owner had it changed.Comes with original manualBrand new U-Joint in the rear as well
Bad: Has little rust spot in door, not a huge deal and a spot underneath where a tow hook goes. My guess is someone strapped it too tight and broke the weld, I listed it in the pics
Dash is cracked pretty bad, from what I've read, they all do this prior to 1988.
Blower motor doesn't work, could be resistor but not sure. Might be an easy fix.
Paint is bad, previous owner had goats and dogs and they scratched it up pretty good. Mostly just blemished though, I don't see any scratches actually going through the paint. Makes for a great sleeper however.
A/C doesn't work, might just need a recharge.
I will also include all of the original parts from the intercooler setup except the radiator. I also have an entire set of leather seats to include if the buyer wants them. They have the typical rips where the seams are but very clean and the heated seats still work. Car has temp plates on it but if my antique plate ever shows up I'll include that too, been waiting 3 months. Car has a clean title, no lean against it, and is pretty clean for 89k miles.
