Packard 160 Super 8 (1940)
for sale

Price: US $10,000.00

Description:

I am selling a 1940 Packard 160 Super 8. I just purchased the car from a friend whose father passed away. The car is in good shape other than the paint coming off the driver's side fenders as you can see in the pictures. There is no rust anywhere except for the normal surface rust. The interior is in pretty good shape other than the tear in the front seat and the dash paint pealing off. The door panels and headliner are in good shape. It is a running and driving car. It has been switched to 12 volt and has an electric fuel pump. All I did to the car was flushed and cleaned the tank then fixed a small pinhole that it had. The only piece missing on the car is the glass from the hood emblem, but other than that every piece inside and out is all there. My buddy I got the car from told me that the car was one of the background car for the movie The Notebook but I have no documentation showing that but I thought I would just say that. If you have any questions at all just send me an email and I will answer anything I can. If you are close and/or want to come and look at the car I am available, so just ask. The car is being sold as-is where is and I reserve the right to end the auction early as it is for sale locally. There is a $1, 000.00 deposit due within 24 hours of auction end. I will only accept cash in person, cashiers check or wire transfer. If the payment is made with a cashiers check or wire transfer, the car will not be released until payment has cleared with my bank. The buyer is responsible for shipping and for all taxes.
