1938 Packard 1601 eight cylinder four door sedan. Fair paint and body. Interior is fair to good but incorrect. Car runs and drives well with good exhaust system, tires and brakes. Most of the chrome is very good with the exception of the window frames. Both rear fenders have been molded into the body . The door posts between the front and rear doors on both sides are broken as can be seen in one of the photos. The correct original engine runs well and the transmission and clutch are good also. All instruments work and steering wheel is in good shape. This is a car that would require a little bit of work to make it a fun car to drive to the local car shows and have a good time doing it. Mechanically it is good and welding the door posts would make a substantial difference in the car. I am listing this car for the widow of the owner of the car. She has a Florida title signed over to her. The car is located in Enfield, CT. If you wish to see it in person please contact me and I will arrange for an appointment to see it. If you have any other questions I will do my best to answer then as quick and honestly as I can. The car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time if it sells here. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!!!
