Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. I purchased this 1949 Packard last month but now have a child on the way so I'm needing to sell it. I'm not looking to make a huge profit just recoup my money. I do not know a lot about Packards, I saw it sitting outside a barn where it had been stored for 5 or 6 years and figured it would make a nice restoration project. It comes with a brand new battery, new ignition coil, new electronic 6V fuel pump, new spark plugs (in box) several new headlights (in box) and a lot more stuff. The motor doesn't have a generator on it, and I don't know anything about the motor or its condition, but was told it was stored properly, fuel drained, etc, about 5 years ago. It had just been rebuilt prior to that when the previous owner's father passed away, same with suspension. I was told this is a super 8 deluxe coupe but I'm not sure, I've included a lot of pictures, including the VIN tag. I moved the vehicle to my house with tow straps, rolled freely and brakes worked well. Tires are good. Hubcaps are included. All the chrome side trim pieces are included and are in the trunk. There is a lot of stuff in the trunk. The original 3 piece rear bumper is in the trunk, lots of trim pieces, for the sides, the window trim, the windshield wipers, and other items, it of course comes with all this and I have the hood ornament for you as well. Rear wheel side panel cover things too. The reserve is set to only $1, 500 which is what I paid for it.
