Needs love, attention and new paint. 4-Door Touring Sedan. Sound body and frame; it is a driver. Packard color Maize. Packard 288 straight-eight flat head engine. Runs great but would benefit with a voltage change to 12-volt (currently a 6-volt positive ground system, stock with an alternator upgrade). Electronic ignition. Drive-line is a 3-speed manual transmission with electric-OD and 3:92 differential (the highest gear ratio available in 1942. .the stock 4:11 gears were replaced). All operable. Would benefit with a complete brake job. Windshield wiper switch shorts but replacement switch is provided. Interior nicely done in period style and material type. Has a stereo installed but needs attention like a 12-volt system upgrade. New Firestone tires including the spare. Has stock skirts. A rare deal with all there. Has 1947 center grill rather than the '42 (like the newer grill looks that matches the '42 side grills). Lots of chrome in good condition. Need to sell as I cannot put her to good use due to my physical inability and lack of adequate storage when not in use (no garage or shop currently under car port). Worthy!!!
