THIS CAR WAS SOLD ON EBAY ON DEC 07 2005 FOR $12, 450.00. SINCE THAT TIME THE OWNER HAS HARDLY USED THE VEHICLE AND IT HAS BEEN IN STORAGE FOR MOST OF THE LAST 11 YEARS.
IT WOULD BE AN EXCELLENT VEHICLE, TO APPLY SOME T.L.C. AND DO A FRAME ON COSMETIC RESTORATION. THERE ARE SOME BUMPER CHROME ISSUES (PICTURED) AS WELL AS IT WOULD BENEFIT FROM A REPAINT. WE BELIEVE THAT IT IS ALL ORIGINAL WITH THE EXCEPTION OF ONE REPAINT IN THE ORIGINAL BLACK COLOR.
SOME OF THESE PICTURES WERE TAKEN AFTER A CAR WASH AN YOU MAY SEE SOME SLIGHT SPOTS WHICH ARE WATER. THE CAR HAS 54, 531 MILES AND STARTS RIGHT UP WITH NO PROBLEM. THIS IS THE YEAR BEFORE THE TROUBLESOME ULTRAMATIC TRANSMISSION. IT IS 3 SPEED ON THE COLUMN, WITH THE OVERDRIVE TRANSMISSION.
THERE ARE SOME HOLES THAT WERE DRILLED IN THE DOOR TRIM AT THE FORWARD EDGE OF BOTH FRONT DOORS LIKELY FOR SPOT LIGHTS WHICH ARE CURRENTLY NOT ON THE CAR.
YOU WILL NOTICE THE PAINT ISSUES WHICH ARE PICTURED ON THE RIGHT REAR FENDER AND DOOR. UPHOLSTERY IS ORIGINAL NOT SHOW BUT USABLE.
ALL IN ALL IT IS ONE OF THOSE CARS THAT YOU CAN DRIVE AND ENJOY WHILE DOING YOUR IMPROVEMENTS OR JUST GO AT IT AND RESTORE IT TO SHOW CONDITION. THE UNDERCARRIAGE IS REMARKABLY CLEAN WITH NOT EVIDENCE OF RUST EVER. ALL GLASS IS GOOD AND INTACT, BUT THE SMALL QUARTER WINDOWS HAVE SOME SLIGHT BUBBLING ON THE EDGES.
