bought as a project but now have a convertible i'm working on, this could be an easy fix for the right person, the body is pretty solid other then the rockers with have rust and the drivers rocker is dented towards the back, the rest of the body is straight and solid, the floor looks to have been repaired in spots with fiberglass, at least you know it will never rust there again !, , it has the original 327 inline 8 and fires up pretty easily, i had it running off the fuel tank but the line from the tank is pretty rusty, so it is currently running off a gas can under the hood, it will idle fine, i have yard driven it to check the rear and transmission, the rear is quiet and the trans shifts fine. it's an automatic, the car has power brakes and power steering {could use new belts} the engine is quiet but a leak at the exhaust manifold gasket can be heard, the interior seats have been covered in black and white vinyl , door panels are decent shape, headlind is there and fairly intact but it's original and could use replacement, brakes are working but should be gone over before attempting street driving. lights work, wipers try to, i'm sure the vacuum lines need replacing. all the glass is good and windows roll up and down. chrome is driver quality. tires are in great shape, suspension is good too. .basically, the car needs, new metal fuel line from the tank and vacuum lines under the hood replaced, the rest is just basic tinkering around, you can have this going in a weekend of undisturbed work...it's a tank of a car, trunk pan looks solid, frame is solid too. .it has a new fuel pump, battery, plugs, points, cap , rotor, wires and solanoid...like i said, it will fire right up and drop right into gear but will only yard drive until those things mentioned are done...a good start that will run and move on it's own power. i start it once a week to keep it up and going..this is a no reserve auction, one bid takes it home, bring a trailer or have it shipped, don't know how that works, so consult a shipping company before bidding, a $500 non-refundable deposit required in 24 hours and full payment within 7 days, the car is in philadelphia pa 19111, remember , 1 bid wins, so don't bid unless you want the car, i am open to answer any questions you might have , so ask away.
