Please read before bidding! For auction a rare 1969 peugeot 404 automatic, i have owned this car for about 7 years having bought it from a gentleman in quebec, the car is in good solid condition as the photos show and the paint is good with just a few blisters as can be seen in the photos, the car runs and drives well but should probably have a general tune up from lack of use which is the main reason i am selling it.The engine runs very strong no missing or strange noises but it does stall the odd time at stop signs thats where the tune up comes in, the transmission and brakes work properly also, everything works in the car except for the radio, even the original clock works and keeps perfect time, as you can see the interior is as close to perfect as i think you will see in an old 404 with no rips or appreciable wear, i cannot and will not vouch for the mileage but, judging by the condition of the interior you never know, the car comes with an original shop manual in english and an original owners manual(in french) and many spare parts, i have put a very reasonable reserve on the car because i would like to sell it before storage season, please bid only if you are buying and please be aware of your shipping costs as i am in Nova Scotia Canada and if you live far away the shipping could be more than you are paying for the car!
