Vintage 1956 Maine Disabled American Veteran Key Fob
This DAV tag or more commonly known as the key chain license plate, is a Maine issue from 1956. Great yellow color with date stamp.
Generally these tags were sent by the DAV when soliciting for contributions to help support the Disabled Veteran programs. The tags matched the actual license plate of the auto owner. The back of these tags states that if the plate with keys is lost, the finder can deposit it in a mailbox for return to the DAV who would in turn send them back to the owner who is registered.
