Up for auction is this scarce old 1911 Minnesota license plate. There is a sticker on the back that has the information of the original owner of this plate. It was registered to a Mr. M.G. Dunnom in Madison, Minnesota to his 20hp Ford Model T touring (see second picture). In that era, the horsepower of an automobile was more significant than the year of manufacture. That was how the vehicle tax (now widely called excise tax) was calculated, thus most states did not list the years of the automobiles in the registry records. This plate has unfortunately had some major repairs done to it which can be seen in the picture. Please see pictures for condition. Any questions please ask. 
Some plates might not lay quite flat and some might need a cleaning. I will do my best to clean / straighten the plates before I ship them.
