Here is a nice vintage MOTORCYCLE Porcelain license plate, 1914, approx 6 inches by 2.5 inches, from Michigan. 1914 plate #3798. Porcelain motorcylcle plates are very hard to find. This one is a beauty. Great for the collector of MICHIGAN MICH MI motor cycle porcelain license plate plates. Condition: Not bad for its age. Some minor edge chipping as can be seen in the pictures above. Also one chip at top center and two at bottom center. Also some crazing to the center of the porcelain as you can see above. Plate was just so slightly bent back in 1914 to attach it to the cycle. The Michigan state seal is intact, the year and the word MICH are intact. It would be hard to find a much better example.
