This plate is in Very Good condition, still showing decent porcelain gloss after 101 years. There is no restoration on this item. It has only minor damage, and it is limited to the two upper mounting slots. Remarkably, all four original metal grommets remain in the corner holes. Please see all of the close-up photos for detail. You will notice that there is a very uncommon manufacturing flaw on the center digit - it is a partial backward impression of the maker"s stamp, which somehow got baked onto the face of the plate. On the back of the plate, there is another maker"s stamp, but that one is complete and has been properly applied. I have been collecting porcelain license plates for more than 40 years, and I have never seen another example of this unusual factory error.Low $4.99 Priority Mail shipping in the US.
