1917 New York Lighted License Plate Rare
New York allowed lighted license plate for just a few years and this is one example from 1917. It allowed the license plate to be seen from day and night. I found a patent for a similar plate which was license sign for automobiles by Henry Brewster of New York. The patent was dated March 13, 1917. This one may have been a sample or been custom built. In good condition but review all the pictures to your satisfaction.
