This plate has all original paint with no restoration of any kind. There is actually a little bit of surface gloss that remains on the brown background after nearly 100 years.Please look at the close-up photo for detail. There are extra holes, one each on either side of the top mounting slots, and one at bottom center. There are some small orangey rust stains on the white numbers. I have seen this type of staining successfully removed or diminished with the application of certain chemicals, but I have always been afraid to try it myself. Overall, I grade this plate Good Minus. It is straight and solid and lays flat with no bends or warp. All Delaware plates from the teens are scarce, and even more so with original paint.
