1925 Temporary Minnesota Dealer’s License Plate – Cardboard and Rare!
This 1925 Minnesota Dealer plate (#D445) must have been a temporary type plate used on a vehicle while waiting for the permanent plate to arrive. This is a heavy tag board type material and I doubt too many of these survived. This is the only one of this type that I have ever seen. It is in very good original condition and measures the 12” x 5.25”. Note the explanation written on the back telling about this Chevrolet car named “Cleopatra.” The plates were used on the car from Sept. 15, 1925 through October 14, 1925 with the final trip to Waseca, Minnesota on Saturday, October 10.
Shipping within the United States will be by standard first class postage and it will be packed carefully with cardboard to prevent bending. I will combine postage to the best of my ability if buying multiple items. Please wait for an invoice with the new postage total if you buy multiple lots.
Thanks for looking and good luck if bidding! Check out my other auctions for additional license plates, toppers and attachments.
